One interesting fact about Nelly is that she also demonstrates her passion for soccer is that she moved two hours away at the age of 15 to be able to progress in her development and reach a higher level.

"I chose Western Illinois University because it allows me to combine my studies with my passion for soccer. I play for the university’s team in NCAA Division I, which gives me the opportunity to compete at a high level. Since I come from Quebec, it is also a great opportunity for me to experience studying and living in the United States while continuing both my education and athletic career."
