- Carmean has been honored as an Illinois State Scholar, High Honors, National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society, and Academic Excellence Awards in Art and Science.
- Her most memorable moment on the pitch so far would have to be her high school senior night.
- It was amazing to see how much the team had bonded and how much the squad grew together throughout the season.
- She cites her high school coaches who have really helped push her to become better and work harder.
- Also, Chad Kutscher, head coach for two years, influenced her the most.
- His coaching and conditioning really helped develop over the last seasons in high school and she feels that without his encouragement and the way he believed in her she wouldn’t be playing college soccer.
