Biography
GRADUATE (2022): Named First Team All-Summit… United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-West Region... team captain… led the team in scoring with eight goals, which was tied for second-most in the league… league-leader in shots (63), shots per game (3.7), shots on goal (34) and shots on goal per game (2.0)… scored a season-high two goals in the season opener against Eastern Michigan on Aug. 18… scored in five-consecutive games during the month of September, including the third in a 3-0 road victory over Northern Illinois… scored a goal and recorded her lone assist of the season in a 2-0 victory against Kansas City on Sept. 25… second player WIU women’s soccer history with three or more All-Summit awards… finishes her Western Illinois career as the leading scorer in program history with 34 goals.
SENIOR (2021): Earned Second Team All-Summit League honors… was named a preseason Player to Watch… made 16 appearances (16 starts), playing 1,167 minutes… recorded assists in back-to-back games against UNI (Aug. 29) and Valpo (Sept. 10)… finished with 26 points, which set a single season program record… scored a team-record 12 goals, becoming the all-time leading goalscorer in program history with 26… scored two game-winners and had three games with multiple goals… average of 0.75 goals and 1.63 points per game also set program records for the top mark in a single season… finished the season with 57 shots… 39 shots on goal/2.44 per game led the Summit League and set two more program records… against Illinois State on Aug. 26, tied the single-game program record for goals (four) and points (eight)… twice tied the single game program record for shots (11).
JUNIOR (Spring 2021): First Team All-Summit… Started in 14 out of 15 games played… finished second in the Summit in goals (7), seventh in points (14), and third in game-winning goals (2)... team-leader in all three categories… had two multi goal games at South Dakota (March 12) and Omaha (April 2)... scored two goals in three minutes at Omaha (April 2)... had three straight games with a goal… scored seven in the last eight games… recorded back-to-back game-winners in sweep of Oral Roberts (March 19 & 21)... team-leader in shots (28) with 13 on goal… logged 1,219 minutes.
SOPHOMORE (2019): Started all 18 games… had a team-high and career-high six goals… scored the first goal of the 2019 season against Missouri State (Aug. 23)... notched back-to-back game-winning goals versus Northern Iowa (Sept. 23) and Chicago State (Sept. 30)... tied individual match-records in ninth for points (4) and third in goals (2) in a game against UIC (Sept. 5)... had a team-high 12 points… led the team with 45 shots… second in shots on goal at 19… notched a shot in 17 games… five games with four or more shots.
FRESHMAN (2018): Started 7 games this season… She had five shots with three on goal against Chicago State (Sept. 14)... She scored one goal against Drake (Sept. 16)... Recorded 721 minutes for the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Joins the Leathernecks as a freshman from Henley-In-Arden Primary School and Solihull College.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 9, 1999…Daughter of Paul and Jackie Andrews…Cites her dad as a major influence in her sports career "because he’s always supported me with every soccer game I have had and gave me the best advice. He has always helped me with my position and told me what I need to do in order to improve and how my overall performance was after each game." Chose Western because "The women’s soccer team seemed to come across as a family and to me in sports it’s important to have a great chemistry as a team. The University has a friendly feel about it and that’s the environment I want to be in." Most memorable sports moment is when her team was losing 1-0 in the cup final and she scored two goals with five minutes remaining to win…Hobbies include playing soccer, listening to music and walking her dog…. Majoring in physical education.
