Twice qualifying for the Indiana state championships in cross country and twice qualifying in the mile for outdoor track & field, Bennett joins the Leathernecks with a lot of momentum. To close out her prep career this past spring at DeKalb High School, Bennett ran personal bests of 11:25.80 in the 3200 meters and 5:02.28 in the mile. Her fastest 5K time in cross country was 18:34 and she finished seventh overall at the Nike Cross Country Regional Championships as a senior.
