Biography
FRESHMAN (2022-23): Appeared in 21 games off the Western Illinois bench… played at least 10 minutes in five different games… played 19 minutes against Eureka on Dec. 3, scoring a team-high 12 points while shooting 5-7 from the field and 1-2 from deep… season-high three steals against St. Xavier on Dec. 16… played 12 minutes and recorded three assists against South Dakota State on Dec. 29… finished the season having played 140 total minutes.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter on the Kettle Moraine High varsity team… second team All-Conference after her junior season, earning Classic 8 First Team All-Conference honors her senior year… AP All-State honorable mention… Honor roll all four years… most memorable moment was winning the Division-I state championship her senior year.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Mark and Michelle Randgaard… four-time recipient of the Dick Ohm Merit Award, which recognizes students who “volunteer, inspire, lead, and give back” to the community… credits her Dad, Mark, as the biggest influence on her basketball career, also noting the late Kobe Bryant’s “Mamba Mentality” played a huge role in her success… when not playing basketball, she enjoys fishing, golf, water skiing, snowboarding and baking.
WHY WESTERN: “I chose Western Illinois because I really liked the coaching staff and the style of play. There has also been a lot of success with other girls from the Wisconsin Lakers here like Grace Gilmore, Alissa Dins, and Taylor Higginbotham.”
