- Played a season high 27 minutes shooting 4-8 from the field against Morehead State.

- A point guard from Rochester, Ill., Kaylen Reed comes to the Leathernecks with an array of athletic and academic accomplishments.
- A three-time member of the Rochester High School Honor Role and member of the National Honor Society, Reed is a three-time All-Conference selection in both basketball and volleyball, while earning Conference Player of the Year for her performances on the basketball court in 2021-22.
- A team captain and two-time regional champion, Reed's most memorable basketball moment was winning the conference title during the 2021-22 season.
- During the 2022-23 season, Reed helped lead Rochester to a regional title.
- She averaged 16.7 points, 3.6 rebounds 3.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
- She scored a season-24 point in the sectional semifinal game against Mahomet-Seymour.
