Biography
GRADUATE STUDENT (2022-23): Made 12 appearances in her lone season as a Leatherneck, starting twice… made her return to action after returning from a lengthy battle with injuries on Dec. 16, finishing with two points, one rebound and a block across seven minutes in a victory over St. Xavier… scored six points in back-to-back games against St. Thomas and North Dakota, shooting 2-3 from deep against the Tommies and 2-5 from three against North Dakota… played a season-high 17 minutes against the Fighting Hawks.
PRIOR TO WESTERN: Spent the 2021-22 season at Cal State Northridge… prior to CSUN, spent four seasons at Duke University… made 63 appearances (two starts), playing an average of 15.4 minutes per contest… scored 151 total points and grabbed 56 rebounds, dishing out 52 assists… during her sophomore season (2018-19), shot a career-best 36.8% from beyond-the-arc… missed her junior and senior seasons due to injury.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Tausha and Jerrald Adams… has one sister, Jordan, who played six seasons at USC… most memorable sports moment was playing against UCONN in the Sweet 16 while at Duke… enjoys watching movies, hanging out with her dog, meditating, hikes, fashion, going to the beach and giving back to the community… credits her family as the biggest influence on her basketball career, saying, “They have sacrificed so much for me and believed in me through tough times… they are my biggest fans and their love for me is the reason I play.”
WHY WESTERN: “It’s a great school. I get challenged in the classroom and on the basketball court. Western is filled with love and compassion and that’s really all you can ask for.”
