Biography
GRADUATE STUDENT (2022-23): Started each of the team’s 30 games, averaging 24.9 minutes on the floor… finished the year averaging 7.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting a career-best 87.0% from the free throw line… nine games with double-digit scoring and seven with at least five rebounds… scored a season-high 17 points in an 83-67 win over Valpo on Dec. 9, shooting 3-6 from the field and 10-12 at the line while also finishing with five rebounds, three assists and four steals… almost recorded a double-double in a home victory over South Dakota on Dec. 31, finishing with nine points, nine rebounds and four assists… finished her Western Illinois career as the program’s all-time leader in appearances (143), third in three-pointers attempted (588), fourth in three-pointers made (166), fifth in minutes played (3,355), sixth in steals (225), ninth in assists (316), ninth in free throw percentage (76.1 - min. 100 attempts), 10th in field goal attempts (1,094) and 19th in total points (1,088).
SENIOR (2021-22): Named to the Summit League All-Defensive team after averaging a league-leading 2.2 steals per contest… against Oral Roberts (Feb. 14), Lutz tied a career-high with seven steals to go with a season-high 20 points… had 10 games of three or more steals, six of which ended with at least four… finished the year as the team-leader in minutes played (981) across 29 appearances (29 starts), averaging 11.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
JUNIOR (2020-21): Played in all 24 games for third consecutive season with 21 starts… hit the game-winning free throws vs. Kansas City in The Summit League Championship Quarterfinals (March 7)... Summit League and team-leader in steals (61) and steals per game (2.5)... ranked 32nd in steals and steals per game in the country... recorded first career double-double (22 points and 14 rebounds) against Denver (Feb. 12)... averaged 10.9 points per game in league play.
SOPHOMORE (2019-20): Played in all 30 games for the second consecutive season… averaged 13.5 minutes per game…third on the team in 3-pointers with 31… had a season-high 18 points and five threes at South Dakota (Feb. 13)... had 29 steals and 44 rebounds… averaged 5.1 points per game… back-to-back games in double-digits (12 and 10) versus Purdue Fort Wayne (Jan. 9) and Denver (Jan. 12).
FRESHMAN (2018- 19): Played in all 30 games as a freshman…Averaged a total 17 minutes per contest with 5.8 points per game, 1.4 rebounds, and one assist…
