Was a four-year letterwinner in softball and basketball at Sterling Newman High School... helped lead the softball team to its first conference title in 2009 and first regional title in 2007... named to the all-Three Rivers Conference First Team from 2006-09... selected to the academic all-conference team from 2006-09... led the team with a .487 batting average, 39 hits and 28 RBI during her senior campaign... selected as team captain by her peers during her senior season... led the team in RBI from 2006-09... was a member of the National Honor Society and the Rotary Club.
