2024-25: Set a PR in the 200 M dash with a time of 22.71 at the Redbird Challenge on March 29...Finished first in the long jump on January 25 at the Bob Teel Invitational with a jump of 7.29 M.
Track and Field
2023-24: NCAA West Region Qualifier in the long jump. Tate finished sixth in the OVC Outdoor Championships in the long jump and 11th in the triple jump. Won the long jump at the Cougar Classic and finished second in the event at the Drake Relays and Musco Twilight. During the indoor season, finished fourth in the OVC Championships in the long jump and second in the event at the Black and Gold Invite and PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic. Currently fifth all-time in program history in the men’s indoor long jump and sixth in the outdoor long jump

2023: Won the Summit League Outdoor Long jump championships (7.5m) and the Kip Janvrin long jump (7.12m). Was on the winning 4x100 relay team at the Janvrin Invite (42.84) and finished second in the triple jump at the Janvrin Invite (14.17m); Won the long jump (7.26m) and finished third (14.06m) in the triple jump at the Summit League Indoor Championships. Was named Newcomer of the Meet at the Summit League Indoor Meet and wad named All-Conference Indoor and Outdoor. Won the triple jump at the Jimmy Grant Invite (13.76m). Was named Summit League Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Year
BEFORE WIU: Finished second in the Class 3A 2022 State Track and Field meet in the long jump (23 feet, 1.25 inches); Ran a leg in the fifth place finishing 4x200 relay team at the Class 3A Illinois State Track and Field Meet. Also ran a leg in the 13th-place finishing Class 3A 4x100 relay team at the state meet.
