Biography
2023-24: Part of the fifth-fastest outdoor distance medley in program history (10:00.16), the fourth-fastest indoor 400 (48.36) and the ninth-fastest 200 indoor 22.11. Ran a leg on the sixth-place 4x400 team at the OVC Outdoor Championships. Finished 10th in the 400 at the OVC Outdoor Championships. Finished sixth at the OVC Indoor Meet in the 400.

BEFORE WIU: Originally a boxer, Young transitioned to the sport of track & field late in his senior year at Thomas Jefferson High School. A natural in the long sprints, Young qualified to the Florida state championships in the 400 meters where he finished 15th overall in class 2A. He has personal bests of 50.12 in the 400 meters and 22.65 in the 200.
