Biography

SOPHOMORE (Spring 2021): Summit League Defensive Player of the Week (Feb. 15) and (March 22)... Started eight matches… made first career start in the season opener vs. Easter Illinois (Feb. 12)... recorded a career-high 10 saves en route to weekly honor… recorded first career shutout and victory in a 1-0 win over No. 18 Oral Roberts (March 18)... posted back-to-back shutouts for sweep of Oral Roberts (March 18 & 20)... earned second player of the week award… finished second in saves per game (5.13) and third in saves (41) in the Summit… ranked seventh in saves per game, 22nd in saves and 34th in save percentage (.804) in the NCAA… made six saves three separate times against Denver (Feb. 18), No. 18 Oral Roberts (March 20) and Kansas City (April 1).

FRESHMAN (2019): Appeared in four games… made Leatherneck debut at Green Bay (Sept. 1)... recorded first collegiate save against #19 Missouri State (Sept. 26)... totaled seven saves… logged 135:48 minutes… recorded shared shutout at Purdue Fort Wayne (Oct. 19).

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southwood Secondary School… played soccer and basketball… earned honor roll three straight years.
 
PERSONAL: Born Jan. 1, 2001… son of Christine Ireson and Phillip Main… chose Western because of its excellent facilities and the atmosphere of the team and coaches… parents are listed as his biggest influencers in his soccer career by “always pushing me to better and achieve my goals”…  most memorable sports moment is being selected for Toronto FC’s (Major League Soccer) development squad and training with their U17 Academy and TFC 3… likes running, working out and playing video games… undecided major.
