Ludvig Rhodin

Ludvig Rhodin is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Leatherneck men’s soccer program. 
 
Rhodin joined Western Illinois after working as the goalkeepers coach/assistant coach at University of The Incarnate Word University in 2019.

While in the San Antonio area, he was the head coach for both the U15 and U17 boys team along with being a girls academy coach. Other coach experience includes serving as the head goalkeeper coach from 2017-19 for North Dakota Youth Soccer Association, Dakota United Soccer Club, and Dakota Olympic Development Program.   

 
The Hoganas, Sweden native, played his senior season at Montana State - Billings where he earned GNAC (Great Northwest Athletic Conference) Player of the Week honors and was an All-Conference Honorable mention. Prior to his stop in Billings, Rhodin was a three-year starter and two-year captain at the University of Mary.   

During high school, he played for the Swedish top league team Helsingborgs IF‘s Academy from 2011-14 and went through u15-u19.

Rhodin earned his bachelor's in Business Marketing at Montana State University - Billings in 2019 and is pursuing his master’s in Sports Management Western Illinois.
