Biography

SENIOR (2018): Started four matches this season… had to shots against Green Bay (Sept. 31)... recorded 381 minutes.

JUNIOR (2017): Started eight matches in nine appearances for the Leathernecks… recorded seven shots including a career-high of three against Valparaiso (Oct. 12)… also had a shot on goal in the match… recorded 289 total minutes…

SOPHOMORE (2016): 2016-17 Summit League Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence... Saw action in four games with three starts… recorded one shot at Valparaiso (Sep. 4).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015): Did not play.

FRESHMAN (2014): Redshirted... Did not play.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Addison Trail High School...earned three varsity soccer letters...named to All-Conference, All-Sectional, and All-Area teams junior and senior year...selected as All-Area Most Valuable Player as a senior...earned academic honors as an Illinois State Scholar and All-Conference Academic Senior...Presidential Education Award recipient. 

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 15, 1996...Son of Chris and Anna Amato...Chose Western because he wants to compete in college soccer at the highest level while staying close to friends and family...Most memorable soccer moment was in high school beating two ranked teams in a row as an unranked team...Biggest influences are past coaches who have showed him what it takes to make it to the next level...Hobbies include playing FIFA, foosball, borderlands, and other sports.
