"I have known for a long time that I wanted two aspects from my college experience. The first thing was to better my fire fighting skills and set myself up for a long, successful career in the fire service. While researching colleges, WIU stood out for the amazing fire protection major along with great reviews from past students. The other thing I looked for in a college was the opportunity to run at the collegiate level. Coach Rosado gave me the opportunity to achieve this dream, which made Western the clear choice for my future."
