2006 (Freshman season): Redshirted... named Defensive Scout Team Co-Player of the Year.

Compiled three-year totals of 142 tackles (89 solo), 23 tackles for loss (-92 yards) and 10 sacks (-52 yards), all of which rank among the school’s top-10 all-time marks... had 47 tackles and four sacks in six games in 2005 before  a season-ending knee injury in week six... despite the injury, he was selected to The Sun All-City team and named Exceptional All-Conference.
