SOPHOMORE (2010): Preseason Second Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference by Phil Steele College Football Preview... played in 11 of the 13 games... started in the first six contests at guard... helped the offense to a record-setting season, finishing third in total offense (457.2 yards), 11th in scoring offense (32.5), 13th in passing offense (266.5) and 23rd in rushing offense (190.7)... scored 40-plus points in five games.

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2009): Saw action in all 11 games... started 10 times.

FRESHMAN (2008): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named the QND Freshman of the Year... three-time selection to the KHQA All-Area Do or Die Team... earned First Team All-Conference honors as a junior and senior... two-time All-Area honoree by the Quincy Herald-Whig... named the school's offensive Most Valuable Player as a senior at center... helped QND to three consecutive 8-3 seasons and three playoff berths... blocked for a pair of 1,200-yard rushers as a junior and a 1,600-yard rusher as a senior... earned four letters... played for coach Bill Connell.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 16, 1989 in Quincy... his father has been a major influence, "He taught me to be strong physically and mentally throughout life."... most admires his older brother, Sam, who played for the Leathernecks, "He never gave up."... enjoys music, basketball, working out, movies, friends and family... favorite musician is Johnny Cash... favorite professional teams are the Chicago Bears, Cubs and Bulls... son of Lee and Kathy Dancer.
