2007 (Senior season): Started five of the eight games in which he appeared... tallied 22 tackles, 2.0 sacks and 1.5 tackles for loss... had eight stops in the season opener... earned the Coaches' Appreciation Award at the team's annual awards banquet...named to Gateway Conference Academic Honor Roll.
2006 (Junior season): Ranked seventh on the team and second among lineman with 37 total tackles... started 10 games at defensive end before missing the season finale due to injury... forced a fumble in the season opener... had a season-high seven tackles in both his first and last game of the year.
2005 (Sophomore season): Recorded 12 tackles, three for loss and two sacks... also registered four solo stops and one pass breakup... had an interception (12 yards) against Northern Colorado... recovered a fumble against Iowa Wesleyan... played in eight games, starting the first seven.
2004 (Redshirt-Freshman season): Registered five tackles, including three solo stops, and one tackle for loss in nine appearances.

High School
A two-time all-conference selection... chosen to the all-area and all-state first team lists... led his team into the 2002 Class 6A state playoffs... the team’s leading tackler as a junior and senior... also an all-conference and all-area center for a basketball team ranked among the top five in the state.
