Freshman (2014): Made five appearances during his freshman campaign, all in relief... first career appearance came on 2/21 vs. Southern Illinois... season-high 2.1 innings pitched on 4/18 at North Dakota State with season-best two strikeouts... threw 1.0 inning vs. St. Ambrose with one strikeout... 4.2 total innings pitched during the season.

High School: Finished his junior year at North Posey with a 7-1 record on the mound… played for Princeton American Legion Post 25 team that won regional and sectional championships in 2012 and also qualified for state.

Personal: Son of Joe and Cindy Stolz… born November 14, 1994… grandfather, Danny Morris, was a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins from 1964-71… lists his high school coach, Jesse Simmons, as the coach he most admires, “Because he pushed me to play my hardest and give one-hundred percent in everything I do. He shaped me into a baseball player I never thought I could become.”… enjoys riding ATV’s and hanging out with friends and family… lists favorite professional baseball team as the Minnesota Twins…major is undecided.
