JUNIOR (2022): Made 23 appearances (19 starts), finishing the season with 12 hits… three games with two or more hits, including a 2-3 outing against NDSU on April 2 where he hit a double and scored a run… .957 fielding percentage on 70 chances while stealing four bases… hit a double against North Dakota State on April 2… season-high three runs scored against St. Thomas on April 29.

SOPHOMORE (2021): Started one of eight appearances... drew a walk at Saint Louis (March 14) and North Dakota State (April 10).

FRESHMAN (2020): Played in seven games with five starts… collected his first collegiate hit at Mizzou (March 7) and had two RBI.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball for Bill Sandry at Pleasant Valley… was a member of the football and basketball team… named All-Conference in baseball for all four years… won Offensive Player of the Year in the district for football.

PERSONAL: Born on April 24, 2001… son Sam and Chris Slavens… brother Ben plays football at Grandview and other brother Nick played football for Luther… choose Western because it was the right size and connected well with the program… lists his brothers as his major influence in sports since they always pushed him to be better and tougher… hobbies include fishing and lifting.
