Biography

2010 (SENIOR): Led The Summit League in batting (.423) and finished second with a .459 batting average in league play... ended the season ranked 24th nationally in batting... was a second team all-Summit League selection... finished first in the conference in on-base percentage (.509) and fourth in hits (77)... finished second on the team in RBI (46) and tied for second with six home runs... tied for the team lead in total bases (110) and ranked third in runs scored (41)... finished in Western's single-season top-ten list in batting average (.423, 8th), hits (77, T-3rd), doubles (15 T-9th) and total bases (110, 5th)... was 3-for-4 with two doubles, one homer, six RBI and four runs against Coe College (3/31)... set a career-high with three walks in game one against Oakland (5/1)... was 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs in game two and went on to hit in 14 straight games... went 3-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs scored in the series finale against Oakland (5/2)... also picked up four hits against Illinois College (5/4)... hit a grand slam at Centenary (5/17)... was 3-for-4 with six RBI and three runs in the performance... picked up multiple hits in 10 of his final 14 games... recorded a hit in 36 of 48 games played... had 10 multiple-RBI games... batted .511 (24-for-47) against lefties and .393 (53-for-135) against righties... hit .467 (50-for-107) with runners on and .437 (31-for-71) with runners in scoring position... recorded 16 two-out RBI and batted .475 (29-for-61) with two outs.

AT SMCC: Played two years at South Mountain CC... batted .337 with two homers and 43 RBI... HIGH SCHOOL: Earned First Team All-State honors in 2006... three-time First Team All-SPSL... All-Area 'Player of the Year' by the News Tribune... member of the Seattle Times All-Area Code Team... batted .540 with six homers and 20 RBI his senior year... lettered in football, basketball and baseball... played for coach Mike Church.
