Biography

JUNIOR (2022): Set a program record making 31 appearances, 30 out of the bullpen… Led team with an ERA of 5.06 and a WHIP of 1.45… Went 2-2… Pitched 42.2 innings, striking out 40 while allowing 49 hits and 24 runs


2021: Turned in seven relief appearances to total 6.0 innings pitched... struck out a batter in games versus Oral Roberts (April 3) and Omaha (May 8).

FRESHMAN (2020): Made five relief appearances… totaled 7.2 innings… had seven strikeouts… struck out three batters at Austin Peay (March 11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two varsity letters for coach Jeff Petrovic at Minooka Community… was 3-0 and 3-for-3 on save opportunities in his junior year.

PERSONAL: Born on April 11, 2001… son of Julie and Brian Bell… choose Western because “I loved the campus and the coaches and current players made me feel at home.”... most memorable moment in sports was getting second place in Cooperstown at All-Star Village… parents are the biggest influence in his sports career, “they have always been there to support me and to continue to better myself athletically,”... hobbies include watching and writing about sports.
