Trey Muilenburg

Trey Muilenburg enters his first season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the baseball program. 

Muilenburg makes his way to WIU from Ellsworth CC where he was an assistant coach at his alma mater since 2017. 

A former outfielder, Muilenburg played two years at ECC from 2013-2015. In his sophomore season, he appeared in 19 games and batted .250 while crossing the plate nine times. After a stint there, he transferred to Mount Mercy University. Muilenburg played in a total of 62 games with 52 starts and hit .237. He also collected a total of six outfield assists compared to just five errors for a .953 fielding percentage.  

A native of Bettendorf, Iowa he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing at Mount Mercy.
