Tanner Holen joined the Leatherneck baseball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2021.
A former Division I catcher, Holen was most recently a site director with Perfect Game Midwest, where he facilitated high school baseball tournaments throughout the Midwest region. He aided in the coordination of scouting and player evaluation while ensuring the tournaments ran smoothly.
He most recently played at the University of Cincinnati, where he batted .300 in 2021, hitting three home runs and slugging .529. Before joining Cincinnati, he played at the University of Kentucky and Iowa Western Community College.
Holen earned three college degrees throughout his baseball career; a Master's in Sport Administration from the University of Cincinnati, a Bachelor's in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky, and an Associate's from Iowa Western Community College.Â
