Josh Merrigan joins the Leathernecks as an assistant coach, serving as the program’s pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. A native of Yankton, South Dakota, Merrigan brings extensive experience in collegiate baseball, having coached at Charleston Southern University, Radford University, Youngstown State University, and Highland Community College.

A former standout player at Oklahoma State University, Merrigan was drafted three times and went on to play professional baseball before transitioning into coaching. With more than 20 years of collegiate coaching experience, he has developed a strong reputation as a pitching specialist and recruiter. His background across multiple levels of the game is expected to play a key role in the continued development and success of the Leatherneck baseball program.
