Biography

SENIOR (2022): Had an ERA of 6.79 and a WHIP of 1.62… Made 17 appearances, including 10 starts… Threw 54.1 innings, allowing 44 runs on 57 hits… Struck out 33 hitters while walking 31… Went 0-6.

2021: Started seven of 11 showings at pitcher... held the second-lowest team ERA (4.73)... retired a team-high 51 batters on the season... ten of these happened versus South Dakota State in a home win... picked up a save in the win over nationally-ranked Louisville (Feb. 26), where he struck out six batters in 4.0 innings pitched... had three other performances of five or more strikeouts.

JUNIOR (2020): Made four relief appearances… pitched 8.2 innings… threw 4.0 shutout innings and had three strikeouts at Mizzou (March 7). 

BEFORE WESTERN: Attended Chandler-Gilbert Community College… struck out 51 batters in 50 innings of work... led the team in appearances last season... made one start… posted a 3-3 record... in his freshman year pitched in 27 innings... had 32 strikeouts.

PERSONAL: Born on April 6, 1999… son of Amy Stevey and Joseph Raymond… choose Western because “I felt it was a great fit academically and a great place to continue my athletic career.”... most memorable sports moment was picking up his first collegiate win… says his mom and dad are his biggest influencers in his sports career because “they have always influenced me to strive for greatness. They are always there for me after a bad or good game. They are what keeps me going.”... hobbies include fishing, listening to music, ping pong, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family… majoring in Business.
