2010 Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Selection
2010 (SENIOR): Made a team-high 22 appearances on the mound including four starts... picked up the win in relief at UALR (3/23, 4.1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO)... recorded a career high six strikeouts against UAB (3/19)... recorded four or more strikeouts on four separate occasions... tossed a season-high 5.2 innings against Southern Utah (5/15)... finished third on the team in innings pitched (47.1) and strikeouts (36).
2009 (JUNIOR): Team-leading four wins… made eight starts in 20 appearances… pitched two hitless innings in win over Oakland… allowed only one hit and fanned two in 2.2 innings in earlier appearance of Oakland series… followed with 1.2 scoreless innings to earn win over Coe… threw two scoreless frames, striking out two, as Leathernecks defeated Eureka… earned win in relief in game one against North Dakota State, pitching 2.1 innings… season-high 6.1 innings in start against Iowa, striking out three… season-high four strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work against South Dakota State… struck out three without a walk in season-opening appearance against Oklahoma, going 4.1 innings in the start… also struck out three batters in consecutive appearances in the IPFW series… fanned three Oral Roberts batters in start during the final game of the year… finished year second on the team in innings pitched (52.2) and strikeouts (34)...Earned the 2009-10 Student-Athlete Provost Award.
2008 (SOPHOMORE): Made seven relief appearances... logged scoreless innings against North Dakota State (5/10) and Oklahoma State (5/13)... received Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team honors.
AT LAKE LAND CC: Pitched one year at Lake Land... recorded a 5.50 ERA in 27 innings… struck out eight… recorded one save.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time First Team All-Conference selection, earning the award his final two years… selected team MVP in junior and senior seasons... named to Daily Journal All-Area First Team as a senior... recorded a 6-4 record with 96 strikeouts and a 3.02 ERA.
PERSONAL: Son of Sharon and Lon Brough... born December 9, 1987... posted a 4.0 GPA in Fall 2008.
