Western Illinois University Athletics

Cindy Green was named Director of Marketing and Promotions for Western Illinois Athletics during the summer of 2004.

Green, who graduated from Blackburn College in 2001 with a degree in physical education and earned a master's degree from Western's sports management program in 2003, is responsible for establishing corporate sponsorships and securing advertising sales for the Athletics Department. Overseeing all marketing and promotions aspects of the department, she also guides the promotional aspects surrounding game-day events and manages ticket operations.

Green, a native of Table Grove, Ill., served as a graduate assistant in the Western Illinois Athletics Marketing and Promotions office from 2001-03. Following the completion of her graduate assistantship at Western, Green spent 2003-04 as an Events and Promotions intern for the Marketing and Promotions Department at the University of Notre Dame.
