Biography
David Noblett joins the Western Illinois Athletics Media Services staff after attaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a minor in youth ministry from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2006. He is the primary contact for men’s and women’s soccer and baseball.
At OBU, Noblett was the assistant sports information director over 16 sports. He also did play-by-play and color commentating for the Bison baseball team along with OBU sports information director Ray Fink.
Noblett is also an award-winning journalist after receiving honors for sports writing and photography as the sports editor for OBU’s student newspaper, The Bison.
The graduate assistant from Harrah, Okla., is pursuing his Master of Science degree in sport management.
Noblett also served as a junior high youth minister at Harrah First Baptist Church.
