Biography
Jay Garneau began in July 2012 as a graduate assistant for Athletics Media Services. He works with the men's soccer, women's basketball and track & field programs, also serving as the secondary football contact and editor of Inside the Huddle, the football game program, in the 2013-14 season.
Garneau earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Management and minors in Journalism and Spanish from Ohio Northern University in 2012.
In four years as a student assistant in Ohio Northern's sports information department, Garneau worked extensively with the majority of ONU's 19 varsity sports.
He spent two years as the Co-Sports Editor of The Northern Review, the weekly school newspaper, and also worked as a color analyst for WONB Radio, covering ONU baseball, as well as Ada High School football and boys' basketball.
The Elmhurst, Ill. native served as the public relations intern for the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the fall of 2010.
Garneau is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sport Management at Western Illinois.
