Biography
Alicia English joined the Western Illinois University Intercollegiate Athletics staff as a graduate assistant for ticketing in July 2009.
English will serve as the primary ticketing director as well as assisting in marketing, promotions and game management. Before coming to Western, English served as a promotions intern for the Peoria Chiefs during the 2008 season. Her responsibilities included serving as the director of the Peoria Chiefs Kids Club, facilitating on-field promotions and establishing marketing plans. In 2007, English served as a marketing intern and ticket sales associate for the Huntsville Stars.
English earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Alabama A&M in May 2008. While at Alabama A&M, she was a two-year member of the Bulldog volleyball team as well as serving as the the president of Phi Beta Lamda Business Fraternity, Inc. from 2005-08 and serving as president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes from 2004-08. English is currently pursing a master’s degree is sports management at Western.
