Biography

Adam Schneberger is in his second year as a graduate assistant in the Western Illinois Athletics department. In his first year, Schneberger served as the graduate assistant for event management and development before moving to his current role as the graduate assistant for marketing and promotions.

In his current role, Schneberger assists with the development of corporate sponsorship packages, aids in the development of the Leatherneck Club and organizes various other fundraising activities while also helping to develop various marketing tools and tactics.

As the event management graduate assistant, Schneberger served as the primary contact for visiting teams and officials, coordinated volunteer efforts at all home events, served as the public address announcer for baseball games and was the Tournament Director for the 33rd annual Leatherneck Golf Classic.

Prior to his experience in the athletics department, Schneberger spent a semester as a graduate assistant for sports clubs and facilities with Western Illinois' Campus Recreation department. During his time there, he oversaw all components for the 15 of the university's 30 club sports programs, managed finances, travel arrangements and marketing for each club team and served as the President of the Sport Club Council.

Before coming to Western Illinois, Schneberger served as the President of the University of Northern Iowa's Club Baseball program and also played on the team. He also has coaching experience at the high school level in baseball, football and basketball.

Schneberger earned his bachelor's degree from Northern Iowa and is currently pursuing his master's degree in sport management.
