2018 Women's Volleyball Roster
Biography
2018 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 97 sets… had 195 kills and 653 total attacks… had 11 assists and 17 block assists… she had 143 digs for the year… she also had three aces against Oral Roberts (Oct. 7th).
2017 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 26 matches, making 20 starts… Recorded double-digit kills in her first three matches off the season… Totaled season-highs with 19 kills and 31 digs against Evansville on Aug. 26… Tallied more than 10 kills in eight total matches… Logged 18 digs in back-to-back matches against Omaha (Sept. 29) and South Dakota State (Oct. 6)
PERSONAL: Norris is a three-year letterwinner and state qualifier out of Iowa City West. She earned all-conference honors her junior year and was a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection her senior year. Her club team qualified for the 17 Open in the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals. She was a bronze medalist for Team Iowa at the 2015 USA Volleyball High Performance Championships. Norris was also a KCRG Athlete of the Week and a member of the National Honor Society.
Chose Western because: "Western was such a natural fit for me and my family. The ability to play close to home and having such a great criminology department was a big plus. The coaching staff is incredible and the players were all so welcoming. The campus is a perfect size and you could tell everyone knows each other and are excited to be Leathernecks. The direction the volleyball program is going is something I wanted to be a part of."
