Who we are: The Western Illinois cheer squad serves as the excitement squad for Leatherneck Athletics! Rain or shine, the cheerleaders are there to support our teams at home. Our team performs at all home football games and men's and women's basketball games. We also travel to a select few away events including playoff games and conference tournaments.
Why we are raising funds: We are raising money for new cheer uniforms! Our current uniforms were purchased in 2015, and are in need of replacement. Having new cheerleading uniforms will allow us to continue supporting the Leathernecks while representing WIU to the best of our ability. Go Leathernecks!
How you can help: With your help, we can continue to make sure our cheerleading squad has the best resources possible to improve their experience here at Western Illinois. All gifts made in support of our crowdfunding campaign are tax-deductible and count for Leatherneck Club credit. Any amount helps and goes a long way toward purchasing our new uniforms!
