If your team would like to practice or hold a walk through, please contact Director of Facilities and Equipment Brady Crane. Director of Facilities and Equipment Brady Crane will serve as your visiting team liaison during your time in Macomb. If access to a locker room is needed for this time, please make sure to include that in your request on the Team Travel Form.

Parking & Arrival:
Teams will need to enter through the North end of campus (entrance on University Drive and Hwy 67). Team drop off can be done just outside of Alfred D. Boyer Stadium, but the team bus must park in Q-lot due to limited spaces and bus mobility.  Please refer to the parking diagram by clicking here.

Parking on the Western Illinois campus is open on weekends and after 5:00PM on weekdays. The small lot West of Brophy Hall provides the easiest access to Alfred D. Boyer Stadium for fans. Parking Services can be reached at (309) 298-1921 should you have any additional questions or concerns.

Video Information:
Visiting Team filming areas are located on behind home plate as well as any radar gun needs. Your respective area is labeled at each location. Please be advised that filming locations are exposed to the elements. 

Bat Testing:
Teams will be scheduled to have their bats tested 30 minutes prior to their scheduled batting practice. Teams not taking batting practice are still required to bring their bats for testing at this time. Each team is required to have a designee that will bring all bats to the testing location (Press box) with a completed Bat Testing Reporting Form. 

Admission:
Admission to Alfred D. Boyer Stadium is free for all spectators.

Should your team not be traveling with a certified athletic trainer, please contact Chad Cerullo to arrange treatments and other necessities ahead of time. The athletic training room will be available two hours prior to the game. Please be in touch if you will need to use the facility prior to any practices to verify availability. 

The following items are available for your use:    
- hydrocollator    - electrical stim & ultrasound
- injury ice  - biohazard & basic first aid supplies 
- water - emergency equipment (AED, splints, etc)

Alfred D. Boyer Stadium:

Home to the Fighting Leathernecks Baseball team and features permanent chairback seating for approximately 500 spectators and a press box with booths for print, radio and television. Alfred D. Boyer Stadium houses a grass field.

• Left field: 330 ft.
• Power Alleys: 372 ft.
• Center field: 400 ft.

Laundry Requests
Laundry requests need to be sent into Brady Crane at least one week in advance. $50 for loops, $75 for Jerseys.

In the unlikely event of an emergency on game day, Leatherneck Athletics and Western Illinois University will activate the Alfred D. Boyer Stadium Emergency Action Plan.

Dangerous Lightning, Severe Thunderstorms & Tornados:
Should the WIU Athletics Staff determine that the possibility of dangerous lightning, severe thunderstorms, or tornados exist, they will evacuate the field according to the facility Emergency Action Plan. The visiting team's emergency contact will be Brady Crane. 

Game Day Management will coordinate the evacuation/shelter of the following:
  1. Visiting Team, Coaches and Staff
  2. Home Team, Coaches and Staff
  3. Game Officials
  4. Spectators
Situations:
  1. Visiting Team is still on the bus at the time of dangerous storms:
    In the event that the Visiting Team is on the team bus, the best course of action would be to remain onboard until given the 'All Clear' by a member of the Leathernecks Athletics Staff to exit to the visiting team locker room located in Brophy.
  2. Visiting Team is in Brophy Locker Room:
    Visiting Team should remain in the visiting team locker room until given the 'All Clear' by a member of the Leathernecks Athletics Staff to exit to Alfred D. Boyer Stadium
  3. Visiting Team is in Alfred D. Boyer Stadium:
    Visiting Team, Coaches and Staff should exit the playing field at the southeast corner of the field and proceed to the visiting team locker room in Brophy.
Delay of Game/Return to Play:
A representative from each team, officials, and game day management will meet in Brophy Hall to discuss the course of action should there be a delay of game or return of play.
