#W1UChallenge: The Senior Student-Athlete Edition

For the next month (Nov. 2 - Dec. 2), Leatherneck Athletics challenges YOU to join the guessing game"!

The second installment of #W1UChallenge begins this week and is scheduled to last through the beginning of December. For the next month (Nov. 3 - Dec. 2) WIU students will be able to find clues on the @WIUAthletics Twitter account that will lead them to a specific Fighting Leatherneck senior student-athlete from a specific team. 

There will be multiple clues released on Twitter each week, and fans will have a chance to put the clues together to figure out which senior student-athlete is being featured from that specific week's team. If you think you know which senior student-athlete the clues are about, simply submit your guess at the entrance of that week's featured home game.

The first 10 correct submitted guesses for that week will be reveiled at halftime of that game and those 10 students will win a FREE WIU apparel item. Fans can begin submitting their guesses an hour before the featured game by direct messaging @WIUAthletics. The WIU students will also need to be present at the game to pick up their prize. 

All Western students are eligible for the contest, #W1UChallenge: The Senior Student-Athlete Edition, and all winners must follow @WIUAthletics on Twitter to win.

THE SCHEDULE:
 
- Week #1 (Nov. 2-8) will feature the volleyball team leading up to the Leathernecks' final home match of the season, which takes place this coming Sunday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. inside Western Hall. Submit your guess for week #1 by direct messaging on Twitter before intermission of the game.

- Week #2 (Nov. 10-13) will feature the women's basketball team leading up to the Leathernecks' season-opening game, which is slated for Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. inside Western Hall. Submit your guess for week #2 by direct messaging on Twitter before halftime of the game.

- Week #3 (Nov. 15-21) will feature the football team leading up to the Leathernecks' final home game of the season, which will take place on Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. at Hanson Field. Submit your guess for week #3 by direct messaging on Twitter before halftime of the game.

- Week #4 (Nov. 2-7) will feature the men's basketball team leading up to the Leathernecks' first home game of December, which takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. inside Western Hall. Submit your guess for week #4 by direct messaging on Twitter before halftime of the game.
