Biography

JUNIOR (2022): Played every single minute of the season, all 1,530 in total across the team’s 17 games… allowed a career-low 1.82 goals per game while making 64 saves… made five saves and kept a clean sheet in a scoreless draw against UMKC on Oct. 1… made a season-high eight saves in a 3-2 victory over Lindenwood on Oct. 15… kept another clean sheet against St. Thomas on Oct. 22.

SOPHOMORE (2021): Second Team All-Summit League... Made 14 appearances (13 starts), playing 1,257 minutes in goal… made 65 saves on 197 shots faced, holding a save percentage of .691… average of 4.64 saves per game was top-mark in the Summit League… finished with six or more saves on in seven different games, including a career-high 12 against Louisville on Sept. 28 to tie for sixth-most in one game in program history.

FRESHMAN (Spring 2021): Started five games… made Leatherneck and collegiate debut at SIUE (Feb. 28)... had a career-high five saves at Eastern Illinois (April 17)... totaled 17 saves… had two saves ore more each game… totaled 470 minutes in goal.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Sockers FC Chicago… member of the golf and basketball team… had a career-high 19 saves in a game.

PERSONAL: Born July 19, 2002… son of Cassie and Michael Flowers… choose Western because “Was close to home, but not too close and it was a beautiful campus with a good academic and soccer program”... most memorable sports moment was going to Europe and saving to two penalty kicks to advance to the finals… cites Neil Thompson as biggest influence on sports career, “He has helped me through my career with ups and downs and gave me the knowledge I have now.”... hobbies include golf, basketball, collecting shoes, working on cars and photography… plans to major in criminal justice.
