Biography

JUNIOR (2022): Started 45 of his 48 appearances behind the plate, recording 34 hits on 153 plate appearances with 10 extra-base hits… tied for the team lead with four home runs…. Seven multi-hit performances… third on the team in RBIs with 25… recorded a season-high five RBIs against Murray State on May 15, finishing 2-5 with a home run and two runs scored… Led the team in defensive chances with 352, converting on 340 of them for a .966 fielding percentage.

SOPHOMORE (2021): Played in 20 games, starting 16... posted a .267 batting average... had multi-hit games at North Dakota State (April 11) and versus Omaha (May 22)... also chipped in two RBI during the North Dakota State showing.

FRESHMAN (2020): Appeared in two games with one start at Tennessee (Feb. 15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball for Darin Pape at Sauk Prairie… earned four varsity letters in baseball and two in football… was named Honor Roll… two-year honorable mention. 

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 29, 2001… son of Hazel and Bob Juran… choose Western because it felt like home and loved the tradition… hobbies included hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends.
