SOPHOMORE (Spring 2021): Appeared in one game… made her Leatherneck debut vs. Kansas City (Feb. 28)... totaled three saves and 72 minutes in goal.
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the Quebec Cup in 2015… named Player of the Year the same season… selected as Rookie of the Year (2018)... nominated twice (2015-16) for Golden Glove award, top goalkeeper in the league… Governor's Medal nominee and member of the 85% club in 2018.
PERSONAL: Born January 12, 2001… daughter of Danick Castonguay and Josée Bérubé… choose Western because “The coaching staff was very welcoming and made me feel like I belonged already. Also the challenges and opportunities that I would face”... most memorable moment was her CEGEP team making the playoffs… cites family as biggest influencers, “My family because I know they sacrificed a lot for me to be where I am today and I want to show them how grateful I am for everything they’ve done for me”... plans to major in pre-med.
