Biography

SENIOR (2018): Pitched 11 games in relief with a 3.47 ERA … went 1-1 on the year … logged 23.1 innings of play … struck out 21 hitters … pitched a season-high four innings at Omaha (May 18) and Murray State (Feb. 25) … allowed one hit and no runs in 2.2 innings vs. Oral Roberts (April 7) … earned the win in a 12-8 decision over Omaha (May 18) … didn’t allow a run to score in five appearances

JUNIOR (2017): Made 16 relief appearances and one start... 1-3 record, 7.02 ERA in 33.1 innings... two saves during Summit League play... 37 strikeouts in those 33.1 innings... made a relief appearance in the nightcap of the doubleheader on opening weekend, pitching two scoreless innings against Mississippi State... earned the team’s first win of the year, throwing 3.2 innings at Dayton and striking out a career-high seven batters... did not allow an earned run in those 3.2 innings of relief... started at Saint Louis midweek and pitched 1.1 innings... picked up his first career save in the opener of the Fort Wayne series... suffered the loss in the North Dakota State opener, allowing three runs on two hits in the ninth inning... earned the save in the Fort Wayne finale, pitching three scoreless innings while allowing one hit and striking out three.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Finished 1-2 with a 5.91 ERA in nine appearances... made a relief appearance in the season-opening game at Tennessee Tech... nearly matched his career-high going 4.2 innings, all in relief, against South Dakota State... earned the start at Bradley, allowing one run in three innings... went a career-high 6.0 innings against St. Ambrose, allowing one run on five hits and striking out five... earned the weekend start at North Dakota State, going a career-high 6.2 innings... started game two at South Dakota State, going four innings.

FRESHMAN (2015): Made 14 appearances and one start... earned his first collegiate win with a start versus St. Ambrose, throwing 5.0 innings without a run allowed and striking out a season-high six batters... three strikeouts against Milwaukee in 2.2 innings... two strikeouts at Middle Tennessee, Illinois-Springfield, and Iowa.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played under Chris Ledbetter at Oak Park River Forest... team captain senior year... career record of 18-2 as a pitcher with an ERA of 0.65 senior year... named football All-Conference in 2013 and baseball All-Conference in 2013 and 2014.... member of Baseball State Championship team in 2012.
