Biography
SENIOR (2021-22): Earned Second Team All-Summit League honors after making 29 appearances (29 starts) and averaging a team-high 15.8 points per game, which ranked fourth in the Summit League… finished the season with seven games of 20+ points…. Scored a career-high 27 points twice, leading Western Illinois in victories against Southern Illinois (Dec. 4) and Omaha (Dec. 22)… tied a career-best mark for rebounds in a 19-point, 10-rebound performance in a victory against Denver on Dec. 20… finished the season second on the team in minutes played (943) and second in overall field goal percentage (52.8%).
JUNIOR (2020-21): Started every game (24) in back-to-back seasons… tied for team-high first in minutes (727) and minutes per game (30.3)... finished second in points (273), points per game (11.4), free throws (67), and rebounds (112)... third in field goal percentage (45.4) scored double-digits in 15 out of 22 games this season and 10 out of 14 league games… had six straight in Summit play vs. NDSU, KC, and SDSU… scored a season-high 24 points vs. Denver (Feb. 13)... had 11 points and seven rebounds in The Summit League Championship Quarterfinals vs. Kansas City (March 7).
REDSHIRT-SOPHOMORE (2019-20): Started all 30 games… third on the team and 11th in The Summit League in points per game with 12.0… recorded first career double-double at Omaha (Jan. 24) with 10 rebounds and 24 points… followed up with another 20-point performance with 26 at North Dakota (Jan. 26)... had four consecutive games of double-figures on two separate occasions… averaged 29.0 minutes per game, third best on the team… shot 50 percent (128-256) from the field… second on the team in free throws (78) and assists (57)... third with 93 rebounds.Â
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2018- 19): Summit League Freshman of the Year… Summit League All-Newcomer Team… Played in all 30 games averaging 20.7 minutes per contest… Averaged 8.4 points per game, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals…Â
FRESHMAN (2017-18): Redshirted for the seasonÂ
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 16.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.4 steals per game at David H. Hickman High School… named All-District in Class 5 and Missouri Class 5 All-State (2017) … also lettered in golf and track during her high school career… sectional qualifier from 2014-16 and All-District in 2016… All-State her freshman year in track, competing in the 4x400-meter relay, and was a state qualifier in the 300-meter hurdles in 2016… Missouri Class 5 All-State in track (2017)... also a state qualifer and placed fifth in the 300-meter hurdles (2017)... in the 1,000-point club at her high school… member of the Hickman Athletic Hall of Fame and graduated with highest honors... a member of The National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Barry and Karen Nichols… father played basketball at Columbia College, sister Kasey played golf and brother Zach is currently throwing for the track and field team at Columbia College… most memorable moment in her basketball career was making a buzzer-beater from beyond half court in a game… lists her dad as a major influence for being her first coach and supporting her through everything she does… majoring in Biology.
