Biography
2016 (FRESHMAN): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Appeared in eight matches, making six starts... Played in 28 sets and made her freshman debut on 10/21 at Fort Wayne... Ranked third on the team with 130 assists, averaging 4.64 per set... Set a career-high 28 assists against South Dakota State and 23 against Omaha... Recorded 32 digs with a career-high seven at South Dakota State... Had nine service aces, with three at SDSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Bouse is a three-year varsity letterman on the Willard High School volleyball team, earning First Team All-District, All-Large COC, and All-Region honors as a senior. This past fall, Bouse helped guide the Tigers to district and sectional titles before falling in the Elite 8 of the state tournament. As a junior, Bouse led the team in assists (566) and aces (33), while gaining First Team All-District and All-Large COC honors alongside a Second Team All-Region accolade. A three-time Academic All-State selection, Bouse is a four-year member of the honor roll, President of the Willard High School National Honors Society, and member of the A+ program.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jennifer and Kirk Bouse... Early Childhood Education major... chose Western because, "When God opened up this door to Western, I knew it was the right place to be. I connected really well with the girls and I felt right at home. I am so excited to be a part of a growing program and to be a part of a school that not only cares about their athletics but also their academics; a place where everyone is one Leatherneck family."
