Biography

JUNIOR (2018): Logged 10 appearances with one win … recorded 16 innings on the year with a 5.62 ERA … picked up a 4-3 win over Maryville behind 3.1 innings, one hit, one run and a season-high five strikeouts … didn’t allow a run to score in six of his appearances

SOPHOMORE (2017): Made 15 appearances and one start... 1-3 record and 7.08 ERA... 20.1 innings pitched, 10 strikeouts and 12 walks... six of his relief appearances came in Summit League play... Started the season-opening game against #14 Texas Tech... scoreless 3.2 innings at Dayton... came on in relief for 1.0 innings at Saint Louis... pitched three scoreless innings of relief against South Dakota State... pitched 1.1 innings of relief versus SIUE... earned the victory against South Dakota State on the road in relief.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Started the first three games of the year before an injury sidelined him the remainder of the season... received a medical-redshirt... started game three of the Tennessee Tech series... started game three of the Southern Illinois series... earned the start in game three versus Northern Kentucky... recorded 7.2 innings and eight strikeouts.

FRESHMAN (2015): Appeared in 19 games with five starts... went 2-5 with a save in 41.1 innings... 35 strikeouts to 23 walks... his debut went 4.1 scoreless innings at Middle Tennessee allowing 1 hit, no walks and season-high seven strikeouts... in eight of his appearances did not allow a run, and no more than 1 earned run in 14 of his appearances... six strikeouts in 3.1 hitless innings of relief against Evansville... picked up the save against Fort Wayne with 1.1 hitless innings of relief... earned the start against Illinois-Springfield midweek throwing 2.0 scoreless innings... earned the win against Milwaukee allowing one earned run on three hits in 5.0 innings... made a start in Summit League play at Fort Wayne and North Dakota State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Andy Zorger at Aurora Christian... three-time All Conference and All Area... led conference in strikeouts... member of two-time regional champion team... team captain 2013-14... named team Cy-Young winner 2013-14... notched 300 career strikeouts... member of midwest scout team in 2013... two-time Perfect Game All-Tournament team.
