SENIOR (2017): Summit League All-Tournament Team... batted .181 in 38 games (26 starts)... three doubles, one home run... 14 runs scored and eight RBI... 5-7 in stolen bases... Started the first two games of the season-opening weekend (vs. Texas Tech)... picked up his first two hits of the season during the Southern Illinois series and scored three runs... two hits and two walks with a run and RBI in Western’s win in the Dayton series... two hits at Saint Louis... first career home run in The Summit League Tournament (vs. North Dakota State), part of his season-high 3-hit game... named to the All-Tournament Team finishing with four hits, .571 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage.

JUNIOR (2016): Played in 47 games and started 46 times... team season-high 17 game hit streak was snapped in the season finale... batted .315 with five doubles and two triples... scored 21 runs and drove in 22... tied for the team lead with 25 walks... .985 fielding percentage at first base... started the series finale at Tennessee Tech... batted team-leading .533 versus Northern Kentucky (8-of-15)... three runs, four walks and posted a season-high four hits in the finale... batted .583 during the North Dakota State series, including a 7-for-9 stretch to end the weekend... drove in seven runs against NDSU, hit two triples and scored twice... scored two runs and walked four times in the South Dakota State series... recorded two hits and two walks in the Omaha series... drove in two runs off a double in the series opener against Oral Roberts to help clinch the win... two hits in the Fort Wayne series... 6-for-12 at the plate at NDSU with two runs and three RBI... batted .364 in the SDSU series with two runs scored (.462 on-base percentage)... recorded two hits at Iowa... batted .500 at Oral Roberts, going 6-for-12 with two multi-hit games... extended his hitting streak to a personal-best 15 games following the Omaha series... extended his hitting streak to 17 games but saw it end in the finale going 0-for-2 before getting pinch-hit for... had a hit each of the first two games at Fort Wayne.

AT PARKLAND COLLEGE: Three-year member of the program, redshirting in 2013... played infield and outfield... voted team captain... coached by Dave Garcia... missed significant amount of time during the 2015 season due to an injury... batted .243 with nine stolen bases and 15 RBI... hit .297 as a redshirt-freshman with .412 slugging percentage... added 27 RBI, 10 doubles and a home run that year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball, playing for coach Rod Hatch... twice named to the Peoria Area All-Star his final two years... First Team All-Mid-Illini Conference and Second Team All-Area as a senior... earned Second Team All-Mid-Illini Conference and All-Area honors at quarterback following his senior year... football team made the playoffs three years... baseball team twice advanced to the Regional Championship.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Monti Currier... born December 22, 1993 in Peoria... No. 1 sports highlight was hitting the go-ahead 3-run home run his senior year against rival Notre Dame HS to advance to the regional championship... his family has been a major influence, "Every family member has had an impact from my grandfather introducing me to sports when I was young, my father pushing me to wrok hard on the field and in the weight room, my mother being my positive support system, and my sister, grandma and uncle being my biggest fans at every game. I simply couldn't give credit to a single person."... most admires NFL quarterback Tom Brady, "Not once in Tom Brady’s 15yr NFL career has he not acted with complete class and professionalism, no matter what the circumstances have been. He is a ultimate competitor and plays with a drive and passion that everyone should play their sport with."... his mom was a cheerleader at Western, uncle played baseball at Illinois Central, grandfather played football and baseball at Illinois. He was drafted by the Broncos in football and by Milwaukee Braves in baseball, played two professional seasons with Hank Aaron from 1962-64. Great-grandfather participated in football, track and baseball at Butler, played football for the Cleveland Browns... enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and skiing... favorite professional teams are the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and Bulls... favorite music is Mike Stud, Florida Georgia Line and Granger Smith.
