Awards and Recognition: 
2012-13 Winter/Spring Academic All-Summit League

Senior (2014): Appeared and started in all 50 games at centerfield for the Leathernecks... Collected two hits and scored two runs in the season opener at Middle Tennesee State on 2/22... First RBI of the season came against Oklahoma State in Auburn, Alabama on 2/27... Registered a season-high three hits at South Dakota State on 5/1 with a run and an RBI... Scored a season-high two runs on six occasions... Notched a season-high two RBIs against Illinois-Springfield on 3/25 and against Omaha on 5/10... Helped WIU earn its first series victory over Omaha with a walk-off hit against the Mavericks on his Senior Day, 5/10... Finished the season with 48 hits including eight doubles, 20 runs scored, 14 RBIs,  and eight stolen bases... Ends his career ranked in WIU's 'Top-10' in career games played.

Junior (2014): Made 47 appearances with 36 starts... 29 starts in left field, seven starts at second base... scored his first run of the season on 2/21 against Southern Illinois... one hit and RBI on 2/22 vs. Louisiana-Monroe... hit, run and RBI in the win at Evansville on 3/1... recorded his first career triple on 3/9 at Indiana State... also had season-high two RBIs on 3/9... notched a hit and scored a run on 3/15 at Illinois State... season-high three hits, including his second triple of the season on 3/21 vs. Butler... scored twice on 3/21... opened conference play with a hit and RBI in the win over South Dakota State... run, hit and RBI on 4/6 in the doubleheader at Omaha... two hits and a run scored on 4/12 at Fort Wayne... first career home run came on 4/13 at Fort Wayne, a solo shot over the right field wall... one hit in the win at Iowa on 4/15... third triple of the year on 4/20 at North Dakota State... eight-game hit streak from 4/26-5/15... two hits vs. Omaha on 5/15... hit an RBI single in the Summit Championship elimination game on 5/23 vs. South Dakota State to give the Leathernecks a lead they would not relinquish... also scored a run during the win... in total three multiple-hit games during his junior campaign... through three seasons has 133 appearances and 110 starts, the most for any current player on the roster.

Sophomore (2013): Appeared in all 56 games with 55 starts... had three hits in the Arkansas series, including two in the final game... also scored two runs and had two RBI in the opening weekend series at #1 Arkansas... two hits, one RBI and one run scored against Iowa on 3/2... one hit at Arkansas-Little Rock on 3/3... two hits in the Minnesota series including a double on 3/10... three hits, two RBI and five runs scored in the Saint Louis mid-week series... three hits, three RBI and two runs scored during the Missouri State Series… three hits and two runs scored at Michigan on 3/22… three hits and one run scored in the Illinois-Chicago series… hit an RBI double at Iowa on 4/5… three hits and four runs scored during the Omaha series at home… career high three RBI on 4/21 at Blackburn… two hits, two RBI and one run scored on 4/24 vs. St. Ambrose… three hits and two runs scored on 4/27 at Fort Wayne… recorded two hits and scored a run in the South Dakota State series… four hits and three RBI in the North Dakota State series at home… had back-to-back three hit games at Oakland in a doubleheader on 5/18… also recorded two RBI and scored twice on 5/18… picked up one hit and one run on 5/25 vs. South Dakota State in the Summit League Tournament… only member of the 2013 team to appear in every game.

Freshman (2012): Appeared in 30 games with 19 starts... played in all three games at Bulldog Classic... started in left field against Indiana State and threw a runner out at the plate... one walk against Maryland Eastern Shore... started Saturday’s game at Western Kentucky at second base... scored a run after coming in to pinch-run on Friday vs. Xavier... a hit in each of the last two games and drove in his first RBI on 3/31 vs. Bradley... doubled at Iowa in his third straight start... drove in a run vs. Eastern Illinois on 4/24... collected a RBI on May 5 vs. IPFW and also scored a run... went 1-for-3 in both of the games he started at Illinois State and collected the weekend’s only RBI with a double on 5/13... drove in a run at South Dakota State on 5/18.

Big 12 All-Conference First Team as a junior and a senior... as a senior was a member of the Big 12 Conference Championship team... selected to the Pantagraph All-Star Game in his final season as a prep... received the IHSA Scholar Achievement Award all four years of high school... Big 12 Scholar-Athlete Award recipient as a junior and a senior... hit .407 with 38 RBI during his senior year... also an accomplished athlete in basketball and football... won the Big 12 Scholar-Athlete Award for basketball and football during his junior and senior seasons...
