Awards and Recognition: 
2013 Winter/Spring Academic All-Summit League

SENIOR (2016): Played in 22 games with five starts... both hits were a pinch-hit home run... three RBI and five walks... played in all three games at Tennessee Tech... pinch-hit 2-run home run in game one of the series... started game two of the Southern Illinois series... pinch-hit home run against Omaha in game one of the series at home... started the finale at Fort Wayne... ended career with 94 games played and 49 starts... perfect 9-for-9 all-time in stolen bases.

JUNIOR (2015): Started in 12 of his 20 games played... opened the season with 2-for-5 effort against Middle Tennessee with two RBI... also drove in a run at Oral Roberts and versus St. Ambrose... scored a run against Jacksonville State, Illinois-Springfield and at South Dakota State... went 3-for-3 in stolen bases.

SOPHOMORE (2014): Made 25 appearances with 14 starts in the outfield... scored a run on 2/20 vs. Nicholls State... one run scored on 3/9 at Indiana State... two RBI double on 4/9 vs. Illinois-Springfield... one hit, RBI and run on 4/9 vs. St. Ambrose... two hits and career-high three runs scored on 5/10 at South Dakota State... two more hits on 5/11 at SDSU... three hits in two appearances vs. Omaha on 5/16 and 5/17... scored a run and had a career-high three walks vs. Fort Wayne in The Summit League Championship... four multiple-hit games during the season... seven-game reached base streak to conclude the season.

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2013): Appeared in 27 games with 18 starts... had one hit and run on 2/17 at Arkansas... one hit and RBI on 3/1 vs. Wichita State... first career double came on 3/3 at Arkansas-Little Rock... also scored two runs on 3/3... one hit on 3/9 at Minnesota... first career start as the DH came on 3/15 at Missouri State… career high four-game hitting streak from 4/5-4/13… recorded a double, drove in a run and scored a run at Blackburn College on 4/21… two hits and two runs scored in the series at Fort Wayne.

FRESHMAN (2012): Redshirted

HIGH SCHOOL: All-Conference in 2010 and 2011... All-Area in 2011... Team MVP & Captain in 2011... USA Baseball Great Lakes Regional Team in 2010... Under Armour Pre-Season All-American... All-Tournament Honorable Mention after he went 6-for-7 from the plate... Perfect Game USA All-American Honorable Mention... named Perfect Game Underclass Showcase Top Prospect team at the Midwest and National levels...  ranked #68 in the 2011 class by Prep Baseball Report... in 2010 he hit .396 and drove in 61 RBI with seven home runs, 21 doubles and five triples... on the mound he collected 1.43 K’s/inning and a 3.14 ERA... during 2011 he hit .410 with a .502 on-base percentage and slugged .620... also pitched 54 innings and collected 88 strikeouts... his summer team, Pro Players, won the 16U Diamond Sports World Series... in 2008 he was named to the USSSA 15U Nationals All-Tournament team after he hit .500 and was 2-0 with a 0.78 ERA.

PERSONAL: Son of James and Wendy Maki... mom competed in track and field at WIU... born January 20, 1993.
