2012-13 Winter/Spring Academic All-League
Senior (2013): Team high 22 appearances made… made season debut on 2/17 at #1 Arkansas... threw 1.2 innings and picked up the save... threw 1.1 innings on 2/23 and picked up his second save... threw one inning on 3/3 at Arkansas-Little Rock with two strikeouts...1.1 innings of work on 3/10 at Minnesota with one strikeout... threw 2.0 innings on 3/12 at Saint Louis on his way to his first career win... four appearances in a row where he picked up a save from 3/12-3/23… notched two saves during the series at Michigan and was named Summit League ‘Pitcher of the Week’ on 3/25… threw 1.1 innings with one strikeout and picked up his second win of the year on 4/7 vs. Fort Wayne… broke the previous single season save record on 4/27 at Fort Wayne when he picked up his sixth save of the year… broke the career saves record on 5/5 vs. South Dakota State when he picked up his seventh save… season high 2.1 innings on the mound with two strikeouts vs. North Dakota State on 5/10… also picked up the win in the game… eighth save came on 5/11 vs. North Dakota State after throwing 1.1 innings with two strikeouts… threw 1.0 inning on 5/23 vs. South Dakota State in the first round of the Summit League Tournament and picked up his ninth save of the year… final career appearance came on 5/25 vs. South Dakota State, threw 1.0 inning in the contest… finished the season with a 3-2 record and 2.86 ERA to go along with his record nine saves… also had 23 strikeouts in his 28.1 innings on the mound... Selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 20th round (607th overall) of the 2013 MLB Draft.
Junior (2012): Appeared in seven games and made one start... walked one and gave up one hit in 0.1 innings in game three at Georgia State... threw 2.1 innings on 3/23/12 and allowed two unearned runs and struck out hitter... started vs. St. Ambrose and threw a career-high 4.1 innings and picked up two strikeouts... tossed an inning at Oral Roberts on 4/20 and allowed three earned runs... tossed 1.1 innings at Oakland on 4/28 and allowed one earned run... pitched 0.1 of an inning at Illinois State on 5/13.
Redshirt-Sophomore (2011): Made his debut with an inning at Samford... 11 appearances on the year and has tossed 14.0 innings... pitched a scoreless inning at Georgia State and Iowa... appeared on May 14 for the first time since the South Dakota State series and worked a scoreless inning with two strikeouts... worked three innings without allowing an earned run and collecting two strikeouts.
Sophomore (2010): Redshirted.
At Moraine Valley CC: Named Pitcher of the Year... Team captain... Finished with a 3.06 ERA in 78 innings pitched.
High School: Member of IHSA Class 8A runner-up in football... did not participate in baseball.
