Named to the 2010-11 Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence
2011 (SENIOR): Hit .286 on the season... hit a
home run in the first game of the season at Samford... started 49 games...
smacked a three-run home run vs. Iowa at Modern Woodmen Park... collected three
hits at Southern Utah on April 29th... hit .533 during the IPFW series
including five RBI and 11 total bases... since April 20 has increased batting
average from .231 to .290... drew four walks against Illinois State on May 17.
2010 (JUNIOR): Led the team with nine home
runs on the season.. finished third on the team in RBI (35) and doubles (18)...
is tied for fifth in school history for doubles in a single-season...scored 51
runs to rank fourth on the all-time single-season Top 10 list... scored a run
in nine of the team's last 10 games, including four multi-run games... scored a
career-high four runs against Furman (2/28)... also drove in four runs in the
performance and hit his first career homer... posted eight multi-RBI games on
the year... recorded a hit in 42 of 53 games, including 19 multi-hit games...
finished the season ranked eighth in The Summit League in doubles, eighth in
runs scored and 10th in home runs... drew 28 walks while striking out just 26
times... one of two players to start all 53 games during the season.
AT BLACK HAWK COLLEGE: Selected First Team
All-Conference, All-Region and All-District following his sophomore year...
earned Academic All-America honors... batted .484 his final year with 18 doubles
and eight home runs... set a Black Hawk record with 68 RBI.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered two years in baseball and once in basketball...
played baseball for coach Chuck Laumann... twice earned Second Team
All-Conference honors... recorded a .360 batting average... earned high academic
honors, finishing in the top 10 percent of his graduating class with a 3.8
cumulative GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of
Robert and Cindy Jordan... born November 17, 1988 in Camarillo, California... was
high school teammate with current Leatherneck Jared Depenbrock... favorite
professional teams are Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.
