High School: All-Catholic (2009-2011)... All-County (2010 and 2011)... All-State (2010 and 2011)... 2011 Michigan High School All-Star Game participant... All-District as a sophomore... went 7-3 record with a 1.33 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 59 innings and also hit .362 as a sophomore... named one of the top players in Oakland County by the Oakland Press after his junior season... as a junior he went 6-3 with a 1.78 ERA... played summer ball with the Michigan Bulls where he went 6-1 with a 0.89 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 42 innings... two-time captain in baseball while receiving four varsity letters and also a captain in football while receiving three varsity letters... 24 wins in four-year career... recorded 108 strikeouts in 2010 and 110 strikeouts in 2011... most wins in school history... finished with and ERA 1.01 in 2011.
