SENIOR (2015-16): 2016 Summit League Spring Academic Honor Roll, Distinguished Scholar... Set a pair of new personal records at at The 2016 Summit League Championships... Finished Western career ranked second in the 200-free, first in the 500-free, 1000-free, 1650-free, 200-back and 400-IM... Part of the 800-free relay squads that rank first and second in school history.
JUNIOR (2014-15): Set seven new personal records... Put himself second in program history in the 200 freestyle... Broke program records in the 500 freestyle, 1000 freestyle, 1650 freestyle, and 200 backstroke... Member of 800 freestyle relay team that broke program record... Finished fourth in the 400 IM and the 1650 freestyle.
SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Continued to write his name in the WIU swimming & diving record book, breaking three program records (1650 free-15:49.10; 500 free-4:31.03; 400 IM-3:57.63) and moving up to second all-time in two other events (1000 free-9:35.07; 200 free-1:40.81). Finished the 2014 Summit League Championship with 3 ‘Top 5’ finishes. Was fifth in the 500 free, fourth in the 400 IM and fourth in the 1650 free.
FRESHMAN (2012-13): Summit League Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 16, 2012... 2012-13 Summit League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll... entered the Western Illinois 'Top 10' times list in five different events including 400 IM (3rd-4:02.58), 500 free (5th-4:37.07), 1650 free (7th-16:09.86), 1000 free (8th-10:01.28) and 200 free (10th-1:43.42... placed third in the 400 IM (4:02.58) and the 1650 free (16:09.86), fifth in the 800 free relay (6:53.73) and sixth in the 500 free (4:39.37) at the 2013 Summit League Swimming and Diving Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL: Letterwinner in swimming, water polo and baseball... two-year swimming captain... set three Macomb High School records, all of which were more than 25 years old.
PERSONAL: Born on December 22, 1993... son of Earl Abercrombie and Cynthia Prather.
